Bourdon Tube
Bourdon (also spelt Borden) tube is a high integrity tube with an oval cross-section for use in pressure sensing applications, principally pressure gauges.
The tube is produced in Beryllium Copper, Phosphor Bronze, Stainless Steel (Grades 304 & 316) and MONEL 400. Beryllium Copper tube is suitable for use in a wide range of liquids and gases including with air, water, steam, oils and other fluids. Phosphoe Bronze, Stainless Steel and MONEL tubes are used with corrosive fluids, in corrosive environments or where food and / or hygiene requirements demand it.
